Default Integrating with already made CMS

Hello!
I am already an EPC customer and i like using this calendar. I am a PHP dev and i want to integrate this calendar into one of my site that is cms based.

I am using cmsBuilder to manage all the contents of the site. My scenario is to include the calendar into various sections of my site that are admin generated via cms.

I need to know how can i integrate this calendar app in such a way that it gets some info (like location) from cms db and saves it into the db along with an extra table that contains the value taken from the cms.

Remember that the locations are all dynamic, the admin can create more locations inside the cms, so that calendar must be capable of getting these info somehow from the cms.

Possible?

Thanks,
Aamir

Not really sure you'll be able to send data to the calendar this way. There aren't any "hooks" to grab data.

Any solution to this scenario:

Three cities categorized in CMS, containing number of locations that gets events. EPC is needed to show those events on front site under the specific cities and locations.

How can we do this?

Thanks,
Aamir

You can assign events to categories then use the showCat option to filter the calendar by category on specific page(s).

But this filter option displays a drop down box on the page, right?
Any way around to not to show the drop down, instead we send some get vars and the calendar show that category?

I dont want to show the drop down listing on each category page, i want users to find the relevant events in calendar when they go into some category.

Any ideas??

The showCat variable does not show a drop-down list. You're thinking about the filter plugin which is a separate module.

See instructions here:
