Default calendar not appearing

We have downloaded and installed your calendar to a client's web site (http://www.phyllisreidjarvis.com/events/index.php). We have added the following codes as outlined in your instructions:

<?php $CSS=1; require("../calendar/calendar.php"); ?>
(before </head>)

<?php $OL=1; require("../calendar/calendar.php"); ?>
(after <body> tag)

<?php require("../calendar/calendar.php"); ?>
(where we want calendar to appear)

Oddly, most of the content on our page has disappeared, as well as, the calendar is not displaying. When I look at the source code, more than 1/2 of the source code is not there.

The page without the calendar should look like http://www.phyllisreidjarvis.com/events/index.htm.

Why is this happening?

Make sure that the path in the third require is properly entered. When using "require" if the file is not found, then it stops the page from loading at all. Also, make sure that you're using the same database for the calendar as the rest of your website is using.

I've had another look and the path seems correct to me, unless you're seeing something else. There is no database for the rest of the web site, and we are saving the events to a flat file. Any other thoughts?

It seems that you have paths issues with the calendar itself as it doesn't display on the demo pages either.

This FAQ might help.

Hi, we took the approach of reuploading the calendar.php file since it seemed there must have been issues with the paths inside that file, and we were not comfortable to make changes inside that file. By doing so, the file was able to auto-correct any path issues and the problem has been fixed.

Thanks for your assistance.
