Important Support Update
Earlier today at approximately 2PM Eastern Time, a water spout (tornado over the water) came through Apalachicola Bay and severed several high-tension power lines causing power outages for the entire island, St. George Island. This is where I work at my "day job" as the IT Manager of one of the largest companies in our area.
I've spent the majority of the past six hours working to get generators to our buildings so we can get to information on our server.
Additionally, we have not had internet service, so I've been unable to answer support questions here.
We are currently under a coastal flooding warning as well as a tornado watch.
I will try to catch back up with support soon. However, worse case, I may not be available for long periods over the next day or two, but this is unlikely.
The power company is expecting to have service restored within 3 to 4 days, but possibly as long as 7 days. My office is not affected by the power outage, but my presence will be required on St. George Island to bring our systems online in the morning and possibly monitor them throughout the day.
