The changes in Version 5.2 include:

Version 5.2:

::. Bug Fixes

-Fixed a bug if using a flat-file database and the dd-mm-yyyy date format.

::. General Changes

-Simplified and enhanced the setup process removing the need to manually edit the config.inc.php file.

-Separated the CSS styles for the setup and administration managers from the calendar themes.

-Added ability to have times for events.

-Added theme selection in the Setup and Configuration Manager.

-Added headers and footers to the login screens.

-Added an option to control the maximum length of descriptions in the overLIB mouse-over windows.

-Added formatting to the event descriptions while using the Event Administration Manager.

-Moved the Smart Navigation Controls layout to CSS.

-Moved the calendar tableWidth to CSS.

-Updated the pop-ups to use additonal CSS styles.

-Changed the event administration to display month names in lieu of numbers.

-Unified the event administration code for both mySQL and flat-file databases.

Version 5.1:

-Added flat-file database support.

-Added additional instructions.

-Updated Change Log to be consistent with other documentation.

-Updated initial Setup and Configuration code.

Version 5.01:

-Fixed a problem that could cause the calendar to fail by putting itself in an infinite loop.

-Changed the background color of the pop-up file to always be white.

-Added additional instructions.

Version 5.0:

NOTE: Version 5 has major changes to the code. Please read the installation and setup instructions carefully.

::. General Changes

-Added the Setup and Configuration script to help set up and configure the calendar.

-Added user authentication to the Event Administration scripts.

-Added the option to parse HTML tags in Titles and Descriptions.

-Updated the look and content of the instructions file.

-Updated the look and content of the change log file.

-Changed several lines of code and variables in the escal.php and config.inc.php files for consistency.

-Added an edit link to the overLIB popup when logged into the Event Manager.

-Added several type of events and views and revamped the entire Event Administration scripts.

-Changed the way the overLIB was sent to the browser thereby reducing it's file size.

-Added the option to turn on or off and customize the navigation buttons at the bottom of the calendar.

-Added the ability to change the flat-file database file name.

-Added the ability to change the SQL table name.

-Removed compatability check for PHP versions less than 4.1. Older PHP versions are no longer supported.

-Added a separate title for events in addtion to the description.

-Moved all of the pop-ups layout configurations to CSS.

-Restructured and organized the file directories.
