Default Paths Error! Paths in the calendar.php file need to be updated but the file is not wr

Hello

I have a question about the update to 6.3.24. I made the update manually and when I started the setup-manger then I received the following message: "Paths Error! Paths in the calendar.php file need to be updated but the file is not writable."

But in my ftp-program is everything ok (646) I can also change to 777 and then I have the same message. The funny thing is, a friend of mine, she use also your product have since one week the following message: There was an error writing to the flat-file database 'caldat.php'. Make sure the database file 'caldat.php' has write permissions (CHMOD 646).

But this file has also the correct CHMOD and you can also change to 777 and its still the same problem.

Can you help me. I can give the solutions to my friend also.

Many thanks

That error is produced by PHP because PHP thinks it can't write to the file.

Did you move the directory the calendar is in? The paths in the calendar/calendar.php file may be incorrect now which could point to another calendar installation that is not writable.

Did you mean to reply to this thread?

I'm not sure what you mean by examples?

The steps to correct paths issues are detailed in the FAQ of my previous response.

If you'd like me to do this for you, open a support ticket with your FTP information and I'll try to help.

Admin: Received a note that the host made some changes on the server and they were able to correct the issue.
