Show list over period of many months?

I want to show in list mode all events from a single category over the next X number of months. Is this possible?

Check for the $listX options to limit the time period and $showCat to limit the category.

One more question. When listing a specific category, is there a way to list/print the category?

You could just add it manually to display on the page before or after the calendar or use the filter and/or legend plugin to display the category.

Yeah, if you want to have the category being displayed set on-the-fly by code, then you'll have to do your own parsing of variables as there's nothing already coded that will give you the category name depending on $showCat.
