List Events in WordPress Sidebar

First, let me say thank you for a truly wonderful calendar. I currently have the calendar working at www.toraschaimdallas.org beautifully.

However, I would like to list the current month's events (date. event title) as a list under the small calendar in the sidebar. I don't want any formatting or CSS. Just a plain text list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
