How extensible is the calendar
Hi all,
Firstly, please be gentle - not only is this my first post in this forum, but my first in any forum - ever.
I've had a scan through the knowledgbase and can't find anything that really covers my issue, so please bear with me while I lay it out.
My company operates a call centre and one of the services we offer our clients is appointment setting. Specifically, we'd like to be able to give our clients access to a secure online calendar which will be filled out and kept up-to-date by our call centre agents.
The calendar will need three levels of access: - The agents, who will be able to log into one client's calendar and add appointments.
- The client, who will be able to log into their calendar and add/modify/delete appointments, or "block out" segments as unavailable.
- The moderator who will have complete access and control over all calendars.
Available time-slots should be seperated into only three per day (morning, afternoon and evening). Each of these time-slots should be shown as available, blocked (unavailable), booked or confirmed (the difference between booked and confirmed being that, if the appointment is made within 48 hours it is confirmed. If it is made outside of 48 hours it should be shown as booked until an agent re-calls the prospect within 48 hours to change it to confirmed).
Ideally we would like it to automatically integrate with clients' own Outlook calendars. As a secondary option, I would like the client to manually download and activate an Outlook Calendar syncronisation.
Would this level of customisation be possible with Easy PHP Calendar? I understand that I would need a degree of development experience myself and I'm more than willing to put in the time and effort to do so - I would just like to know if Easy PHP Calendar is this extensible before I start!
Thanks in advance to anyone who answers!
