Default long loading time

Version 6.4.1. Ten minutes to load a page after each event entry ("connecting..."). Tried to issue support ticket, passwords don't work, and email address that has always worked with php easy calendar before, suddenly it doesn't recognize it. Can log in to event admin, but not set up.
Help!

It's been getting worse over last few months. First entry is usually okay but when I need to make more than one it starts getting jammed. At the bottom it says "connecting to mysite.com", but mysite is loading just fine. I thought maybe I had to upgrade to 7, but can't log in.

Are you using mySQL or a flat file database?

You don't need to be able to log in to upgrade to V7.

That really shouldn't take that long. Have you tried running the purge plugin to get rid of old events?

Look in the plugins/purge section of the instructions.

That was short-lived. It's jamming again, currently has been stuck on "connecting" for about 5 minutes so far. If I stop loading and try logging out, same thing.

Open a support ticket and send me a dump of your database so I can take a look at it.

Trying to open a support ticket keep getting "The characters you entered didn't match the image shown. Please try again"
Can't find any info in knowledgebase or forums on what that means.
Don't know how to data dump, will a txt version of my config file be any use?

I need a copy of the database table. You host should be able to help you get this.

What is the link you are visiting when you get the image error?

The image should be there now.

Can you log into the Setup Manager without issue?

Trying to send a support ticket with the data dump but I'm still getting that error message

The characters you entered didn't match the image shown
.

I don't have my license number, does that matter?

That message is about the CAPTCHA checker. Make sure that you do enter the validation characters - it's used to make sure that it's a human submitting the ticket and not some spamming bot.

Oh, and make sure that you refresh the CAPTCHA just before submitting... there's a timer function where the image will "expire" after a while. So create your ticket, and when you go to submit, refresh the CAPTCHA, enter the validation, and then submit the ticket.
