Blank screen instead of setup console

Tried to run the setup, but nothing happened. I don't get any error message, but I don't get anything else either.

I checked file permissions. Also verified with my service provider that they have the latest Zend software running.

HELP!

What version are you using and is it the trial version?

Using the trial version that I just downloaded last night. ESCal57_Zend.zip on a Unix webserver with the latest update (v4 something) of Zend. I worked with our admin to move the files around and play with various permissions. The best results we could get was a blank screen. Everything else generated errors.

Are you sure of the version of Zend that's on the server? All you need is version 2.5 of Zend Optimizer that's available from http://www.zend.com/store/products/zend-optimizer.php.

Can you view the demo.php file?

You may also want to try the ionCube version (link in the license email).
