Additional User login problem

I have set up an additional person so they can login and create additional events. When he tries to login or I login as him I get nothing like the person does not exist. If I login as the primary person it works fine. I don't get any error messages when I type in the login name and password it just goes backto the same login page with a blanked out User ID and password. Any thoughts? I am a nebie to the product and we are still in the process of setting it up but the program looks awesome.
