Default view modes and public viewing

I have a few questions. Forgive me if they are repeats, but my eye's are bugging out from doing so much searching (lots of different calendars out there) and decided just to ask the question before I throw my laptop out the door.

I have installed ver 6 trial on my server (hostmonster linux with php 5+)
via localhost. I can log into both admin and event users and I get the mini calendars with agenda, but do not see a way to change to the standard or blog mode. Not sure if this is due to localhost issue's or my installation. What I am looking for in this program is to allow 4 users to view the calendar privetly (via log in) and be completly hidden from any public viewing. Right now it looks like if someone just types in /calendar/index.php on my domain they get a calendar. I am hoping that the full version 7 that this is all possible, because so far I am liking what I see.

Thanks

The Event Manager for Version 6 uses the mini-calendars. Version 7 uses the full-sized standard calendar.

If you want different modes, check out the demo files in the root calendar directory. (Version 7 they are in the examples directory).

Version 7 will allow you to have different (and separate, if needed) users and the calendar will not be visible to the public if you set that group to not be viewable.

Thanks! How hard will it be to put my logo on top of the calendar when I install Ver 7?

Just replace the logo image file.
