Default Annual Calendar Observation

Hi,

Not sure if this is only in my installation as I am using a template and had to alter the CSS for table widths but...............

For the years that I looked at, the first Saturday / Sunday columns only have single digit dates (1-9) for each month of the respective years.

This tends to make those two columns narrower than all the rest of the layout. Also the next column (Monday) is also slightly narrower.

Is this something to do with the font size? As 'M' is wider than 'S'?

Is there some way to even the columns out but not using fixed values?

It some what spoils an otherwise finely crafted design.............
Regards,
Laurie

In your brou-epc.css file you have:

.mainTableAnnual {
width: 100% !important;
table-layout: auto !important;
}

This is causing the issue and should be removed.

If you want the width to be 100%, edit the calendar/theme/default/annual.css file and change:

.mainTableAnnual {
background-color: #777777;
border: 0px;
width: 880px;
table-layout: fixed;
}

to:

.mainTableAnnual {
background-color: #777777;
border: 0px;
width: 100%;
table-layout: fixed;
}

Thanks Brian,

That fixes up the column widths but it looks like I still have a bit more to sort out:

3 column template:
http://www.brouleesurfersslsc.org.au...dar-annual.php

2 column template:
http://www.brouleesurfersslsc.org.au...r-annual-2.php

In the end the committee might not want the annual one anyway - but you never know.

Regards,
Laurie

The other two links appear fine when I view them? Are you having issues with them?

Well, that is / was weird!

When I updated the CSS files and uploaded them again the three column page calendar was way down the bottom of the page below the level of the outer columns but when I just checked it , as you say, it is fine.

Probably needed a Ctrl-F5 to hook up the CSS changes.

See there's another update...................

Thanks again Brian,
Laurie
