Default Appears ok, but no saving events or config

I have had this installed and working in the past, but hadn't touched it in quite a while. (Zend version).

Attempting to log back in, but it just took my details and returned a log in screen again. I confirmed php.ini has session_path setup with a writeable directory. Even noticed a new session in this tmp directory after attempting to log in. However the problem persists.

I was able to log in to the events area by putting the username and password in the address ( per the help files ).

Once logged in, I could create an event, but after entering it, it didn't show up.

When entering the setup area, I could submit changes, but they wouldn't save.

Using the test script, I confirm all was ok for Zend install.

I saved my install and reinstalled fresh following the instructions for binary / ascii transfers. The new installed acted the same as the old one.

Any other troubleshooting suggestions?

Dan

This is usually only caused by bad PHP sessions or a bad path in the calendar.php file. See the Paths FAQ below and see if that helps.

Thanks for your note.

I've confirmed the paths are correct.

Tried changing the sessionPath.php to a new directory just above the public_html directory, and do see a sess file created there, but it is of zero length.

(Using php ver 5.2.13)

Still searching...

Are you using the mySQL or the flat-file for the database? It could be an issue on the database end.
