Default EasyPHP Calendar and EasyPHP WAMP

I am using the EasyPHP WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) and want to test the EasyPHP Calendar before purchasing and uploading to the production server. I am having trouble installing Ioncube and the calendar. Ioncube fails the test. I suspect the problem lies in EasyPHP requires the website be loaded from within EasyPHP and will not work when hit directly by the browser. Whatever the problem, I am stuck. Do you have any suggestions or instructions for including EasyPHP Calendar with EasyPHP WAMP?

I don't understand what you mean by "when hit directly by the browser". The calendar requires a web server, so obviously no you cannot simply point a browser to the calendar files... However, using WAMP is a perfectly suitable solution for web development with the calendar.

To install ionCube you'll likely need to modify your php.ini configuration. You'd be best to ask how to install ionCube either to the WAMP developers, or to ionCube support.

You should also be able to run our tester script from the Free Download page and it will tell you exactly what you need to do to get ionCube working.

I meant that you could not enter http://localhost/pagename.php and run the pagename.php script. You had to open the EasyPHP web interface. I could not get ioncube to load properly with this so scrapped it and installed everything separately. All is well now.
