Question backing up the calendar

Hi there!

How does one back up the calendar? I'm using FrontPage 2003. I also use GlobalSCAPE CuteFTP.

I recently installed the latest version on the server and synchronized the calendar files from remote to local but the file sizes are still different. Not sure if they synchronized correctly.

How do I make a full back up of the whole calendar programme and all my events and customizations? Your instructions say to back up the files but . . . how do you do that?

Many thanks

David

Sorry . . . looks like I put this "backup" question in the wrong section.

Easiest was it to use FTP (in binary mode) and download the entire calendar directory to your computer as a backup.

If you use a mySQL database, you'll need to use a tool like phpMyAdmin to backup the database. Your host should be able to help with this.

Thanks Brian,

Sounds rather complicated. I use the mySQL database. I'll talk to our service provider.
