I've just uploaded Easy Calendar 5 the script as per the instructions and I keep getting this error upon trying to run the setup:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING' in ../config.inc.php on line 108

Can someone please tell me whats wrong????

It sounds like something didn't get uploaded properly. Can you try upload the files again and make sure you're in ASCII mode for all of the php files.

If this doesn't help, what Version of PHP is on your server and can you provide a link to your installation?

okay...
1) here's a link to my installation:
http://www.splitrockresort.com/escal/setup/

2) I'm also providing you a link to my PHP info page as this is not the first php script that I can't get to run correctly on the servers of my employers hosting company. Some of the scripts I was able to run else where perfectly (though I haven't tried running this elsewhere). Maybe something is missing in this host installation of PHP....

You need PHP Version 4.1 or greater (which is stated on the purchase screen). The PHP link in your post indicates PHP Version 4.0 which is not compatiable with the calendar script (and many other scripts as well).

Can they upgrade their PHP installation as 4.0 is a little out of date with the current version being 4.3.4 or greater?

Thanks...
I'll have my server upgrade immediately. This also explains the problems I was having with other scripts as well....

Upgrading PHP should put you in good shape for running scripts.
