There's no esdates.txt file in the extracted folder. I added set, set the attributes to 646 and got the following error:
There was an error writing to the flat-file database 'esdates.txt'.
Make sure the database directory has write permissions (chmod 777).
You may also need to set the permissions of the database 'esdates.txt' to at least 646.
So I went back and turned sql on and got the following message:
There was an error reading data from the mySQL database.
However, the connection to the database was successful!
You should run the installation script, setupSQL.php to set up the database.
The error was reported as:
Unknown column 'startDate' in 'where clause'
so I ran setup and got the following message:
> The connection to the mySQL database was successful!
> The calendar table already appears to exist in the mySQL database.
> You should now be able to use the ESCalendar Script with it's mySQL functions.
So i went back to admin, added a test event and got the same thing:
--Number of events currently in SQL database:0--
Thanks and aloha.
