Default Calendar won't add event

Hello,

I've got a calendar at http://www.kongsvad.dk/kalender.php
I'm using the flat-file database, and for some reason when I try to add an event, nothing happens.
The admin-interface seems to work fine, but no events are added anywhere.

What do I check first?

/Steen

You need to make sure that the file you've specified to be the flat-file database is writable by the server (perms 646)... that would be the first thing I'd check.

Actually, no, the first thing I'd check would be the setup panel to make sure that under "Flat-file Database" that YES is selected for "Use a flat-file database for events:"... after that I'd check the permissions on the file

Did that, and did that - everything looks fine.

Any other suggestions?

Problem solved. I had translated the events/index.php into Danish, and renaming some buttons made the script not work

Gr8!

As long as I don't touch the buttons, could I still translate the remaining text?

Correct. And I will be making changes in Version 6 to allow the buttons to be changed.
