Can update events, but they aren't showing on page
Have been using the Calendar for weeks, and love it. All of the sudden, it is not updating to the web site.
I can edit an event or add a new one, and it saves and shows up within the events section. However, when I exit, it is not being displayed on the web page.
I checked with my hosting company and no changes have been reported recently. I am still able to run the php events login, admin login, and calendar. It's just that the information being recorded in the database is not showing up on the display page.

Okay. It should be working now. It appears you had initially setup/tested the calendar on the same server before moving it to where it is now. The problem was that the server path was incorrect in the showCalendar.php file.
This is normally not an issue because the script will find the path itself. But in this case, the path was pointing to a real installation (from the previous location) so it thought everything was okay.
To fix it, I removed the server path from the showCalendar.php file and run the Setup Manager which then was forced to find the correct path and now everything seems to be working.
I had the same problem... I was able to use admin to add an event to the mySQL database, and it says the event was added, however it never actually added the event. This after I just successfully added an event last week and haven't made any changes to anything. After several attempts, I switched to the flat-file events db and the event was actually added just fine. Then I switched back to mySQL and added another event and this time, the event was actually added.
