Using the calendar on a mirror site
Please can anyone help me? I have had to create a mirror site for
http://www.cwmlaiprimary.co.uk/
because the floating side menu won't work in Netscape and Opera. Is there any way I can call the calendar with associated saved events from this page
http://www.cwmlaiprimary.co.uk/escal/calendar.php
to this one
http://www.netscape.cwmlaiprimary.co.../calendar.php?
At the moment I've got a copy of everything on the mirror site, but as the school updates their calendar it obviously won't show on the mirror site.
Many thanks indeed for any help you can give me.

Are they both on the same server?
If so, this would be very easy if you could use mySQL as it will work just by setting up the connection.
If you need to use the flat-file option, you would need to modify the actual PHP code to make this work.

Yes, both sites are on the same server. I would prefer if possible to use the flat file option. Please can you tell me how to alter the php code?
Thank you so much for your time!

I tried that before posting. I got 3 calendars showing and no events. Perhaps I got the code wrong - I tried
require ("
http://www.cwmlaiprimary.co.uk/escal/showcalendar.php
"); in the three places where showcalendar.php is in the script. What did I do wrong?
Many thanks Brian!

Don't change the require command. You need to manually edit the showCalendar.php file and make the two path variables the same for both installations.

Thank you so much Brian - that's sorted the problem perfectly. (Easy, when you know how, huh
) I'm new to php, so I apologise for being rather slow!
