Unhappy Just installed the Calendar, but get a blank page

I just installed the calendar, latest version 5.7, set it up, but I get a blank page. I have tried it both with a mySQL link and a flat file link but niether worked and so I looked at the code for the index page. It was blank. Is the index page supposed to have no code? I tried to download it again but the half hour time limit was up.
Please help me. The script is installed at http://svhm-anaesthesia.org/escal/

The is the correct operation of the files. This is to keep people from browsing your calendar installation. Try viewing the demo.php file (escal/demo.php).
