I would like to use this on my clan website. Will it run with any amendments or will it not be compatable?

Can I try it with the trial and if yes, is there anything I need to do less follow the instructions?

You should be able to follow the instructions and be up and running in just a few minutes.

I can get it up and running fine. WHat I need to do is get it into my phpclanwebsite.

I wondered if anyone knows where it should be installed if they have used that system before?

I don't have any hands-on experience with this system, but, all you'd need to do is edit their header file and add the CSS and overlib code (from the calendar instructions), then add the require to display the calendar on the page.

The system is similar to php-nuke, can I add it as a box

There are instructions in the FAQ on how to add the script to PHP Nuke.
