Arrow Event not saved even tho scripts said it did

I having problems with the new version (6.x). I just installed version 6.014 for the first time and I tested it and all seemed to work fine.

When I add an event into the database (i'm using MySQL) and press the save button it says "The calendar database has been update..." but when I get redirected to the main index of event administration or check the calendar on my site it is not showing the added event.

What am I doing wrong, I have version 5 working perfectly.

Can you repeat this on the online demonstration page on this site?

Yes, I had tried that straight away after it didnt work on my own site. But on the online demo it does add an event, so I can not reproduce it here.

Can you post here or PM me all of the details of the event you're trying to enter?

You started a new databse and ran the SQL Setup script when doing so?

I uploaded the files as stated in the instructions. Did the setup and ran the setupSQL.php file, got the message that the new table had been created. Went into Event Administration, pressed the button "add event" entered test as title and test as description, selected a category, pressed the save event button. Got the message that the database was updated, but did not see the added event. This evening (GMT+1) I will look at the MySQL table and check if the table is even there.

That would have been the next thing to check.

If you're able to, PM me a way to contact you via IM and we'll chat...
