Works great on my remote hosting server but on my local host, even though the script runs correctly, it generates an error every time: "PHP Script Interpreter has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." I've attached the error text file that is generated.

Error signature:
AppName: php.exe AppVer: 4.3.5.5 ModName: ioncube_loader_win_4.3.dll
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000da9f

PHP Version: 4.3.5
OS: Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2

Ioncube directory:
c:/inetpub/wwwroot/ioncube

Line added to php.ini:
zend_extension_ts=c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ioncube\ioncu be_loader_win_4.3.dll

Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
Have supplied them with copies of my php.ini and output from both servers. Last word was

Ok, it's a different OS. In general Windows Loaders work fine, so we're not sure at the moment why there is an issue in your case. We'll investigate next week and see if we can reproduce.
Will update this post with the solution, if it is found, just in case there is someone else who is having this same problem.

PHP 3.4.5 has a bug in it which generated the error when reading Ioncube encoded files. Switched to 3.4.11 and no more error.

Nick (support at Ioncube) went out of his way to track this down. He even went so far as to load a machine with my operating system, web server, and php version. I opened the ticket for support on April 22nd and after 19 messages back and forth and 6 files exchanged, the problem was resolved today (April 27).

Their support is almost as good as Brian's here for Easily Simple Calendar and, as we all know, Brian is beyond excellent!

So, if anyone out there is using 3.4.5, be advised that you'll probably be dealing with this annoying bug.
