Lightbulb User define the name of the MySQL Table

HI there,

I am running a website for a Boy Scout Council. I am in the process of setting up hosting for units on our server. I would like to have each unit have its own calendar, but to do this I would have to use the flat file because each calendar would want to use the same table in the database.

What would be nice is in the program's administration we could define a prefix to your standard table name of about 5 characters. Thus each unit would have its own table in the database.

What ya think?

This is easily modifiable by the user, but I do not know if your usage of the calendar falls within the allowable uses (I'm not familliar enough with the licencing agreement). Hence, I will wait for Brian's answer.

The ability to change the mySQL table name was in Version 5, but removed in Version 6 because of numerous support issues with this.

However, it can be manually changed in Version 6 by editing the config.inc.php file and modifying the table name variable.
