Default Current day displays incorrectly (Mac IE 5.2)

In Internet Explorer on a Mac, the calendar for the current month has the current day displaying incorrectly. (see attachment for a screenshot of what I'm seeing)

Everything looks great in Safari, Firefox, and IE for Windows. Any idea what's going on?

Thanks!

I'm going to take a wild guess here and point the finger at IE (for Mac) for handling the .CSS differently for some reason. Unfortunately, I don't have a Mac and am unable to test this out.

Could you have a look at the online demo to see if you're getting the same result...

Check out the normal calendar mode at the bottom of the page.

Yep, the demo looks the same in IE 5.2. So it appears that it is something with the CSS.

Know of any quick workaround? I've tried a few things with no luck.

Unfortunately, I really have close to no knowledge of Macs. Maybe someone else on the forums could be of help?

I don't know how MS decided to handle CSS files in IE for the Mac... We'd have to track down which tag is causing this and then figure out how that version of IE is made to handle it and correct it accordingly. Perhaps Brian will have some insight on this, but we'll have to wait for his return.

It's not a huge problem, but thanks for looking into it for me!

The "today" cell has the class "s2 today" which is a decendent class selector, css2. MSIE 5 for mac os 9 or osx does not support this.
