Question First time setup problem

I am attempting to install the latest trial version (6.2.2) and after the intial installation was completed I was taken to the setup page where I was asked to create a Master Administrator username and password. I submitted what was appropriate and the form worked - saving the info, but when I click on "Click here to continue..." I am taken back to the create a Master Administrator username and password page as though nothing happened. I have attempted this numerous times now and have not found anything to help in the threads or the FAQs for ionCube installs.

The page in question: http://ucrims.btimedia.com/fred/cale...etup/index.php

Other important info:
ionCube installed at:
http://ucrims.btimedia.com/ioncube
ionCube tester info at:
http://ucrims.btimedia.com/connections/index.php
PHPver: 4.3.10
Site info() page:
http://ucrims.btimedia.com/connections/info.php

Any help would be appreciated as this seems to be the best looking and functioning calendar available on the net.

It sounds like it's having problems writing the user data to the config.inc.php file.

If you can, try giving that file full write permissions (777) and see if it will save the data. If that works, you'd need to do the same to the calendar.php file and the license.php file.

Question

Thank you for your quick response.

I changed the permissions as you suggested and still no change. Just to make sure I tried it on both IE6 and Firefox and still no dice.

There are other portions of this site that deal with sessions so I don't know why this wouldn't work.

Just out of chance I opened config.inc.php to see what was supposed to happen and the file was blank (outside of normal html header info). Is it supposed to be blank.

It should contain lots of data.

How did you upload the files to your server?

I used the ionCube Auto-Installer.
Current file size is 265 bytes.

I just checked the auto-installer and it worked correctly for me...

Try running the auto-installer again, but before entering any information, check the contents of the config.inc.php file and see if it contains any data.
