Default 6.2.7 Upgrade with MySQL Confusion

I am currently running Version 6.2.4 with mysql.

Do I just change the permissions as mentioned in step 2, or do I need to do a full upgrade. Must admit the direction confuse me a little as I do not run a txt database.

Slow in brain today ...

Rick

You just need to make sure the database directory doesn't have full write permissions (777). You'll get an error in the Setup Manager if it thinks this is set incorrectly.
