Default Fatal error: Unable to read 4114 bytes in /home/../../calendar/setup/integrity.php

I have uploaded the files trial version in FlashFXP in Binary mode and chmoded the files/folders to 646 (zend version)

I can get to the first screen to setup my admin, then to select trial mode then I get this error on the next screen:

Quote:
Fatal error: Unable to read 4114 bytes in /home/myuser/public_html/calendar/setup/integrity.php on line 0
I've done everything right as far as I can tell. Any suggestions? This is proving to be a very tricky app to install.

Thks
Martin

You must upload these files in forced binary mode before they'll work correctly.

Brian

I thought I did that? In FlashFXP I selected "Binary" in transfer mode and uploaded all the files again (after initially doing it in Dreamweaver). Isn't that what you meant?

Hi again

Ok...I deleted all the files and uploaded them again taking great care to upload the different files as either binary or ascii

I got the same error as before (see above). I deleted and uploaded a second time: same error.

Then I deleted all the files again and tried the auto-installer. I used the exact same FTP details that I use everyday in Dreamweaver but could not connect thru the installer. In fact it didn't even try and connect, just immediately popped up an error saying 'connection timed out'!

I ran the installer again however and this time was able to connect and install it properly. Don't know why the manual install wouldn't work.

So far, so good. Thks.
