Default Simple update/upgrade installation

Feature request: it would be really great to have an easy-to-use update & upgrade process, along the following lines:
1. upload the new files into eg \calendar\updates
2. Run an executable, eg updatenow
3. viola! updates done

The upgrade process if fairly easy and can be accomplished in just a few minutes. It is outlined in the instructions under the upgrade section.

What you're describing is not possible as the script doesn't rely on mySQL to store it's functions (in order to maintain flat-file database capabilities). This type of upgrade process would not work in this instance.
