Default how do I add an event in TOC mode?

Hi,

I'm tinkering with the trial version of 6.2.9. So far so good! Looks like just the thing for us. A few questions:

1. I want to include the Add Event button in my customized page which displays in TOC mode, and always return to this page after adding an event. How do I do this? Alternatively could I just view the event manager in TOC mode? How would I do that?

(Incidentally, most of the pages in the package (eg. events/index.php) open weirdly for me in Dreamweaver; all the php ends up on one line with no line breaks, followed by a very long stream of gibberish, making it almost impossible to edit or try to understand. It looks corrupted, but it works fine. Is this normal?)

2. I get nice mouse-over pop-pups, but they don't contain edit or delete links like the manual suggests they should. How come?

3. I downloaded the instructions for offline viewing but couldn't open the .chm file on my mac. Offline viewing is key for us; the boss will want to view offline, and everyone else online. Where can I get the instructions for this?

If you can help me resolve these issues, you've got a sale!

Many thanks,

earz

1) The TOC mode can not be used to edit events. You should be logged into the Setup Manager to manage events.

Also, the files are encoded which makes them unreadable locally, but the server (with the proper decoder which you have) will read them and execute them as expected.

2) You should be logged into the Setup Manager to manage events.

3) Here's a Google link to many CHM readers for Mac, many of them completely free:
