overLib Not working with 5.8 version

I have 5.7 installed and working fine..

I have installed 5.8 as well, however the overLib function doesnt work at all...

It just gives error on the page and I am not sure what the deal is..

5.7 works fine, 5.8 wont...

I can not figure out what the problem is......

I installed 5.7 the exact same way and it worked flawlessly.....Deleted it off server and installed 5.8 again and same result, everything but overLib works..

Any suggestions?

There should be a newer release of 5.8, perhaps today. Please check back and try this release (see the announcements forum) and see if it helps.

Ok, I guess I will wait on the new release......I do not really know what the difference is between 5.7 & 5.8 besides some minor changes..

Why is there a 6.0 and other releases? I can not find anywhere on the site why there are 2 seperate release series and what the differences are...

I bought this script awhile back and now it seems there is a whole nother version set?

Version 5 is the previous version and only security updates and bug fixes are done on that version. It is only kept because some customers don't want to upgrade (requires buying an upgrade) to the latest version where all the new features are implemented.

If you had bought a licence for V5, then you can update to v5.8 for free, whereas upgrading to the latest v6 would require you to pay a minimal upgrade fee.

Yes, I got it now, is it only $9.99 to upgrade?

If so I might just upgrade and see if it resolves my issue....

The overlib as far as I know is not working in the 5.8 release, can anyone else confirm?

If you want to upgrade, please download the test script from the Free Download page and verify the trial version will work on your server. There are many additional features in Version 6. Just take a look at the demonstration page and try out the new Event Manger to see some of the new features.

This is an update for you guys. I installed the new Version 6.X and the overLib issues work fine.

I am also very pleased at all the improvements.

I am going to buy new version of script now!

Thanks for your help I just wanted to let you know in the first release of 5.8 I think there is a small issue with overLib but new version and previous versions to 5.8 work perfectly.
