Default upgrading to 6.2.9 not working

Hi,
I have just tried to upgrade to 6.2.9 Zend version, and when entering Setup I still see 6.2.7

I have upgraded manually, as I did last time (everything perfect then). System works but it is unable to tell me, when I first log in, what version it is running currently. Then, if I try any other section in setup, the message changes to show I have 6.2.7 installed and that 6.2.9 is the newest.

I have re-saved categories, and uploaded files carefully two times.

Any clue Brian?
Thanks

Please open a support ticket with the login information to your setup manager and I'll take a look.

Hi Brian,

Forget about it. I just made a double installation and forgot the correct path I have updated everything. The only thing now is that the email notification/upgrading system claims to be not available, but system is now upgraded to 6.2.9

How many times does this kind of things happen?

Thank you and excuses.

The notification system depends on the server allowing the script to access a remote server (mine) to check the status of a text file. Not all servers will allow this, so that may be your issue.

I'm working on a more compatible system, but haven't found anything that can be considered stable...
