Explain for the catetory column of epc_calendar

Default Explain for the catetory column of epc_calendar

Can you give some detail explaination about the column category of table epc_calendar so I can use it to chose different user? some values of catetory like this:

0[4X
0[2X3[6X

specifically how to convert category column to $catShow variable. Something like:
$catShow = Function(category column). Need to know the Function!!!

That is the key for the problem

The early reply does not cover the relation between $catShow variable and category column.

Using the $showCat instructions will show you exactly what should be used to select a different user. But to explain what you're seeing:

0[2X3[6X

Category 0 selection 2
Category 3 selection 6

What the category numbers and selections correspond to depends on what and how the information was entered into the Setup Manager.
