Default Adding Multiple events to each date.

I need multiple users to be able to add events to the same day.
Currently, once an event is added and saved, there doesn't seem to be a way to add another event.

Click the Add Event button in the upper right of the Event Manager.

sigh
I already know how to add an event.

I need multiple users to be able to add more than one event to any given day.
Currently the only way to do that is if the first person to make an entry clicks the add more events button at the bottom of the event entry field.
Even then, once they finish, there is no other way to add events to that day.

Let me say it another way:

I add a cola drinking contest for Oct. 2 at 3:00 PM to last 1 hour. I save it and log out.
Another user wants to add a meeting for Oct. 2nd and when they go to the event manager page, they see the cola drinking contest and try to click on Oct. 2 and nothing happens. They can not add another event.
Now let's say that I want to add a burping contest to follow the cola drinking. When I go into the even manager, I can not add anything either. Even if I edit the one event that is there, I have lost the check block for adding more events.

I'm not quite sure what may be happening? Can you open a support ticket with the url and login information to your event manager?

Also, can you repeat this on the online demo here at this site?

OK,
I opened a ticket, but forgot to give the URL and login.
I'll update the ticket when I get the ticket number in the mail.

Yes, the issue is repeated on your demo site, and I found another issue which I think I read elsewhere in your forums.

Here is what I did:

I added 3 events to your site demo calendar.

Check your demo site for Oct. 2 and 3.
I added the cola drinking for Oct. 2 and check the add more events block. Next I added burping for Oct. 2. Last, I added a birthday for Oct. 3 and logged out.

You can see that the Cola Drink got move to Oct 3. (that's the new issue.)
Now when I log in to the event manager and try to add another event to Oct. 2 or 3, there is no way to do it.

Thanks for the ticket.

I can't make the issue that you're reporting occur? I was able to add the two events on the same day with different times, then add the birthday as well. Then I can go back and add more events on those same days...

A link to your event manager and the login info in a support ticket would be helpful. There may be an issue with your server? (But maybe not since you say it happens on this site too...)

I think I may have incorrectly sent my email as .org rather than .net in my ticket.

I went back in my cache. email is correct.

I don't see where you added any events on the same dates as I added.
What's more, is that the events I made for Oct. 2 are now ALL on Oct. 3.

I can not add events to Oct 20 or Oct 21 either. That is where you added events, right?

I added them to other dates so as to not interfere with your test. I did move the Oct 2 to Oct 3 to see if they would all display on the same day (and they do).

I've responded to your ticket...

I beleive that what was happening here was that trying to click on the day once an event has already been added does not bring up the "Add Event" page. If you want to add an event to a day where there's already an event, just click the "Add Event" and select the date manually. That should solve your problem.
