DB Updating

I need to go back and do some editing to a lot of events, in particular the description sections. Once I make the change in the say the month of Jan 06, the pages refreshes back to October and this way it would take just to long. Can I just do it in the mySQL DB itself instead?

(Are you using Version 6.2.12?)

You should be able to edit descriptions in the DB with no issues.

As I looked in the DB, it was not so easy to find the dates as they are coded differently.

This issue was addressed in 6.2.12. You just need to update all of the files in the events, functions and setup directories.
