Default Adding Events

It is very possible that I am just retarted but I have some questions I would like answered.

1.) Is it possible to add events by clicking on the days? It does not seem to work, I have to go to a seperate URL to add events? Just plain silly.

2.) Is there no option for email reminders?

My real pet peave is just that I can't have a signed in user click on a date from the little calendar and add an event. I have a free calendar installed and working that has this basic functionality. If I have missed it I am sorry.

PS: I will be intergrating this calendar for sure into my PHP-NUKE site if you can resolve this problem for me.

1) Yes. As long as you're logged into the Event Manager, clicking on a date without an event should pull up a new event form for that date. If the day already has an event, click the Add Event button in the upper right of the page.

2) No. This is expected in Version 7 which will be released in 2006 (no set date at this time).

Default Well let me

be more specific.

If I want to embed your calendar into my PHP-NUKE site, how do I display once small calendar window (block) with the ability to add events, view events (popup) and click to see the next or pervious month?

For the ability to add events, there would need to be a link to the Event Manager in the block. You will still be able to view the calendar, navigate between months and view pop-ups (if enabled in the Setup Manager) on the main page.

Default well

how would I go about doing this? I would like to make it work before I spend the $$$. Also will it be able to use a single sign on with a NUKE account? In other words they would not have to sign in twice?

You can by-pass the EPCal authentication by passing a set user name and password to the script. Look at the Details page and the Setup Manager and Event Manager links at the bottom of the page to see how this can be done.

As far as PHP-NUKE integration... you may want to start a new thread in that forum so the resident gurus can help (not quite proficient myself).
