Problem with RUSSIAN LETTERS

I tried the oldest version Easy PHP Calendar.
Everything works good.

I have a problem with russian letters in pop-ups.
In database all russian letters looks good, but when i pointed on any day in the calendar i see non-russian symbols. I tried setup windows-1251 at admin panel & in my index.php. But it doesn't work.

Help me, please. I want to buy it, but i need russian letter in pop-ups.

Did anybody from Russia use this worndefoul scrips?
Tell me please !!!!

I have invested a considerable amount of time an effort in determining the best way to do this. Currently, I'm working on integrating g11n for internationalization (which is only needed for a few character sets).

This will be resolved, but I don't know how long it will be.
