Default The ASET calendar scripts

I love the ASET calendar you use as reference.

I know that to all those PHP genius around I'm going to look like an idiot but right now I'm so deprived of sleep that I could care less what people think if I get the help I need. So here it goes ...

Are the modification scripts available for review? Could anyone give a quick overview/link for mods required (and where they are placed in the calendar directory) to show your own header, the categories on the left of the large calendar and how to place several small calendars to the right of the large calendar(generic, not necesarily 3). What about the filter on the top of the page?

By the way reading the forums I got some information (Like header is changed/customized on the setup manager) that don't seem to pan out.

Anyhow, thanks for bearing with me

Juan

I think the Integration section of the instructions will point you in the right direction.

Default Know so little that nothing is more...

Brian,

If I was the developer of the easyphpcalendar the integration section may very well tell me a lot of things. But as it happen I'm not the developer and no matter how I look at it I can't see in the integration section (or other sections) guidance to my question. Obviously I'm not an expert at PHP. Hell, I know very little (I'm learning though) and I most certainly could use a little lift so I'll ask again:

Any one... how can I place the legend and the small calendars like this site: http://www.aset.ab.ca/calendar/ASETcalendar.php ?

Thank you for your consideration.

JRT

Ok, the way that this calendar is displayed is using a table. 2 rows, 3 columns...

Before going on with the rest, follow the Important Section

1st row, 1st col : empty
1st row, 2nd col : Category Filter Plugin
1st row, 3rd col : empty

2nd row, 1st col : Category Legend Plugin
2nd row, 2nd col : TOC Calendar, and Listing Module
2nd row, 3rd col : Multi-Calendar Generator configured with 1 column and 3 rows.

If you code yourself a little table, and then in each cell insert the code that is on each page, you should at least get a shell of what the ASET calendar looks like. Then you'll have to tweak the widths and aligns, but you should be really close just by following my guide.

Good luck.
