Default Search Facility

On my website I would like to have a search facility for my swim meet calendar, but using 4 of the categories that I have created, including the main category. Ideally this would be on one input form. Can you please provide some guidance on how this could be achieved. Many thanks, James Brown www.swimstrong.com.au

Currently you can filter events by category, but a built-in "search" option isn't available.

Is it the category filter you want help with or a word search type feature?

What I had in mind was something similar to that which exists already in the add event fuction where in advanced filter you can use the Match Exact Selections section to narow down the events to be displayed. Ideally this could be an extended option to the <?php
require("calendar/plugins/filter.php"); ?>
filter function already available. Perhaps it could be considered for a future release?

Regards

James

Using the Event Manager, you can create your own.

Just make the same selections in the Event Manager that need to be filtered on your calendar page, then create links on your page with the resulting $showCat variable.
