Default Event Manager Problem

Hi,

Just purchased my license today for http://www.calodges.org/no215. I had installed the test version and it worked well and I have been able to customize the css and templates to exactly what I want.

Version of the calendar I have is 6.3.15. and I am using the Flat File Database.

I am having an intermitent problem with event manager. I tried entering some event for Past Dates and I was not allowed to post. When I hit Save I go to this URL "http://www.calodges.org/no215/calendar/events/index.php?PHPSESSID=de61e5c33231afe586eae30e813323 fc" and the application hangs. I re-enter the application and the item I tried to enter is not in the database.

I thought it might have something to do with the date being in the past and tried a future event - and it works! But when I try to insert an event - the date or time being between events allready entered - same type of problem.

Happens in Firefox & IE.

The whole site, including database is about 5 megs - I have 20 megs on theis site.

Can anyone point me toward a solution?

Default

This shouldn't be anything to do with past dates...

Please open a support ticket with the URL and login for your Setup Manager and I can take a look.

Default Solution?

After a lot of research and working with my ISP/Server - I had nothing. My ISP was not going to tweak their PHP settings, Ungrade Zend or install MySQL. Research on the Internet lead me to a number of problems "like" mine, and I worked through their soultuons with .htaccess changes and local php.ini files - No Joy.

What finally fixed this for me was updateing from 6.3.15 to 6.3.17. I followed the directions in the docs, but I only put back my license.php and the css file in default. It all works now.

I used the autoinstall with 6.3.15 and with 6.3.17 - I am guessing I messed up a file permission somewhere.

All is well and I love the product.
