Default Trying to load the PHP 5 icon cube - Why????

Get this message on setup:

-------------------------------------
The file XXXXX/XXXXX/htdocs/cpl/calendar/setup/index.php was encoded with the PHP 5 ionCube Encoder, and requires PHP 5 to be installed.
-------------------------------------

I've installed 3 other PHP Easy Calendars on this same host, never had this problem.

What's up with the error???????

Here's my test results before installing:

-----------------------------------------

Pass Testing Results: Testing whether your system supports run-time loading...

Looking for Loader 'ioncube_loader_lin_4.4.so'

Extensions Dir: /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429 (/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429)
Relative Path: /../../../../../../homepages/11/d155326504/htdocs/tester/

Successful! Run-time loading should be possible on your system.

The Linux Loader for PHP 4.4 release is required.

Even if the ionCube results are successful, there may be additional steps required for this success which would be outlined in the Testing Results above. The most common requirement would be the use of a run-time loader.
Several common loaders are already included in the trial download.
Other loaders are available directly from www.ioncube.com.

Did you download the PHP 4 version of the calendar? (Looks like you may be using the PHP 5 version..)

I am having the same problem. I have Ioncube for PHP 4 installed, it has worked great for almost amonth and now today, the page wont show, I get the YOU HAVE IONCUBE VERSION 5 INSTALLED you must upgrade to PHP5. I installed another trial version on the same domain and it worked. I went to IonCube and downloaded the PHP4 installer and installed it and deleted all but 4.4.3 (my php version) and I still get the error, yet the new trial I installed works. My customer I bought this for has a lot of events and themes and I dont want to loose any data. WHat are my options??

I downloaded the entire calendar folder (the one not working) and reinstalled the calender from your autoinstaller. Then I reuploaded the license, config, calendar files and the theme folders over the trial version and everything is back to normal. It would be nice to know why this happened to make sure it doesnt occur again but at least it is fixed and before the client called me,

My best guess is that your web host provider upgraded their installation of PHP which required you to upgrade your installation of the calendar to be compatible.

I own my own server and have not installed any updates lately. This just happened all of a sudden. Its fixed now by reinstalling the calendar but since I have seen a few posts about this, I figured I would let you know it happened to me too.
