Default File Security Status

The phpCalendar administration screen now displays "File Security Status" for calendar.php, config.inc.php and license.php. After clicking on the help button, it's suggested that I set the file permissions to 644 ... They are already 644 and I'm getting a red Not Secure.

I only noticed this today after upgrading to 6.3.18.

I'm running a licensed version and the server is running php 4.4.1 (http://209.59.190.2/~netadmin/info.php)

Try setting the permissions to 444 and see if that makes a difference.

They're all showing as Secure now.

I can't set the permissions to 444 on our server. There is no error when I use CHMOD to 444 but listing it afterwards, it still reads 644 and the message remains Not Secure.

But how secure is it now with 644?

Some server can require different settings. Your web host provider will know how to secure those files.

I'm having the same problem. I've even changed my files to "444", and it still shows "Not secure" in the Setup Manager. I have viewed this in two different web browsers and both say "Not Secure" for those three files.
