Default Trial Installation

Ok - I uploaded the tester to my site and nothing happened so I went back and tried the Auto-installers for IonCube and Zend and when I get to the part that asks me for my web server and I type in the installation URL I always get this message: "Unable to connect to host 'www.colinbutts.com'. Please check settings, check whether the server is available and click next to try again."

I am following the installation requests correctly, it uploads to my FTP but for some reason it is not getting the web server info... Any suggestions?

Thanks

Does your server support PHP?

When you tried to pull up the tester script, you don't see anything?

If you'd like for me to upload the calendar files for you, please open a support ticket and I'll be glad to help.

it seems like you've got a modrewrite of somekind because if you go to your site, any folder that you type in, you still get the home page.

Try http://www.colinbutts.com/somecrapimadeup/ or http://www.colinbutts.com/tester/

Must be something on godaddy...

Default 404 error

ve9gra - Thanks for looking into it. I think you were running into my 404 error. I had it default to the home page - but I changed it to give the default error page.

What about the Zend and IonCube installation? Is it possible to tell if those are installed or not? Thanks

You opened a ticket right? If that was you, there currently isn't a way to tell as PHP isn't parsing data on your server...
