Default setup/index.php is corrupt

I was going along fine with configuring my new purchase when events stopped showing, etc. I reuploaded the entire package in forced Binary using Fetch on my MAC OSX, set permissions for calendar.php, licence.php and config.php and now am getting the 'setup/index.php is corrupt' error - what's up!

Thanks

Some hosts have been known to upgrade PHP without letting you know which can break some script...

Try running the tester script again and see if it still says you are compatible. Pay close attention to the version of PHP of the calendar you have installed and the version the tester says in on the server.

I have also see this happen when the php.ini file became corrupt on the server.

None of these issues are caused by the calendar, but can affect it's ability to execute.

Default Tester

I have run it and it says PHP version 4.3.11 Pass, sessions Support, Pass and IionCube Loader is Pass. My IT person says the php.ini is ok.

Thanks

What are you using to upload the files?

Are you using Zend or ionCube?

Could it have anything to do with my deleting all the files and reuploading?

I have access to a Windows machine - should I try reuploading using the Auto Installer?

You can try the auto-installer, but it sounds like everything should be okay. Just let me know if you still have any problems.

I had the same problem and solved it by downloading a new package, deleting all of the files that I had previously uploaded and then uploading the new package. (I know, it should have worked the first time but things can happen during a download and then upload) Everything worked perfectly the second time. I use a mac as well but my ftp program is transmit.
