Default Changed Unix user information ( Created Problem )

I change the unix user ( owner of files ) and have created a problem.

Any suggestions would be great.

Page having error = http://www.nhpc.org/calendar/events/index.php

Error message = There was a file permissions error for the flat-file database 'caldat.php'.
Please make sure the file has write permissions (CHMOD 646).
Please see the instructions for flat-file setup assistance.

I have checked the files permission and it is properly set.

This is a registered version of phpCal.

The calendar simply uses the PHP write command to see if it can modify the file. If it can't, it will report the error you see. So, somehow this change made this file non-writable to the calendar script. I don't know how to tell you to fix this as it is a server issue (and I'm not that versed on unix).

You might want to try 664 with a group ownership of the Apache user (not sure what it is on your setup). Most hosting packages block the world writeable (xx6) setting. So by setting the group to the apache user and giving group write access (x6x), you should be ok.
