Default I need a calendar with a cross category feature.

Hello.

Let me explain. Lets say I have 6 catagoies:
Country, Rock, Disco, Classical, Funk, Punk

Lets say I have six different locations these events are in:
L.A., New York, Miami, Detroit, Alanta, Houston

I want a person to be able to sort by both categories. So if I live in Houstion and I want to see all of the Punk concerts in Houston I can easily sort to display only that information.

Does such a calendar and/ or feature exist? Or can I customize (if yes what would I need to do)?

Yes! This can be done! Try it out and use the Advance filter in the Event Manager to see the effect. Integration for your users will be a little different. Just let me know if you get stuck.

No, I am not getting what your saying.

The only thing I figured out is adding a main category

like:

Main Cat: Minneapolis

Then under that sections:

Rock
Funk
County

But the problem is when I select Minneapolis and chicago on the calendar only Minneapolis shows up. How can this be done in the Event Manager as you suggested?

Instead, what you'd want is to have a main category "Location" and a secondary category of "Genre". That should work better for you.
