Blank Event Manager Page

I am using the trial version (6.3.23).
The installation (mysql/zend) seems to have been problem free.
I have the calendar showing on the page I want it.
I can log into the setup page (/calendar/setup/index.php).

My major bad symptom is that when I go to the event manager page it comes up blank. I have checked the forums and don't think it's a settings issue.

Also, a side symptom is that the setup manager reports that calendar.php, config.inc.php and license.php are not secure even though I have set and my ftp reports they are.

This is usually caused by a corrupt file, either during the download, decompression, or the upload process.

If you'd like, I can verify the files are uploaded correctly if you'd open a support ticket.

I uninstalled and reinstalled using the installer, as opposed to downloading then ftp. This solved my problem. Thanks - I will become a customer!
