Default MySQL SET NAMES

To view Japanese language, after connect MySQL, I'd like to publish query 'SET NAMES utf8'.
Where should I add this query?

I have a new version that is yet to be released that addresses this issue. Please open a support ticket and include the version of PHP and which encoder you're using and I will send you the updated files.
